Panasonic Faces Revived Claims in Inductor Price
Panasonic Holdings Corp. and other inductor makers will face revived antitrust claims over alleged price-fixing after the Ninth Circuit said plaintiff Flextronics International USA Inc.'s allegations reasonably infer that Panasonics’ prices moved along with those of other companies.
“Construing the pleadings in Flex’s favor, this alleged conduct is sufficient to plausibly allege parallel pricing,” the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit said in a Friday opinion that reversed a lower court’s decision.
